THREE-RUNWAY SYSTEM

The three-runway system of Hong Kong International Airport will strengthen Hong Kong's status as an international aviation hub and generate tremendous economic benefits.

The passenger traffic is projected to rise to over 100 million per year by 2030 with the completion of the three-runway system.

MEGA TRANSPORTATION NETWORK

Hong Kong International Airport is ideally located at the heart of the Pearl River Delta, adjacent to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link which are both under construction. These two high-profile new infrastructure projects will give Hong Kong even faster connections to cities in Mainland China, leading to a significant enhancement in cross-boundary connectivity and economic co-operation.

MARKET COVERAGE

When the new infrastructure projects are completed, a two-hour drive from Hong Kong International Airport will reach approximately 60 million people in the Pearl River Delta region who have a collective GDP of HKD7 Trillion*, creating an enlarged market catchment area for the airport and SKYCITY, and presenting a perfect investment opportunity for both Mainland China and overseas investors.
